Launch 6-7 client fxp at the same time it goes in tilt all the PC and I speak about a PC amd athlon xp 2100+ with 512 mb of ram pc2700.
I have made the test on 6 various computers and other tests I have made on the PC of friends mine them.
For me this is the only great defect of the flashfxp.

You're right.. FlashFXP is huge.. As new options/features are added the memory requirements increase. It's a fact of evolution. You're just going to have to live with it.

However if you were to compare the memory usage of FlashFXP to several other applications you would see that it's usage is normal.

Take a look at the picture below, this is an edited image of windows task manager, I have edited out all unnessary tasks.
What we have left is:
Paint Shop Pro
Windows Explorer
GetRight
mIRC
Internet Explorer
ICQ
FlashFXP
Borland Delphi 4
Windows Task Manager

All applications with the exception of Paint Shop Pro have been running for atlest 10hrs. FlashFXP is downloading a file at 1kb/s (speed limiting) from a networked ftp server with 10hrs elapsed.
