When try to connect to an any FTP getting this messge from Flash FXP

Running Win XP Pro with SP1 , clean install,
with Flash FXP 2.0 build 905, just D/L from their site, same prob with build 903.

Everything was working fine until I installed XP, any clues?

Hmm.. Sorry, I don't know what else it could be. Perhaps someone else has some ideas.

Angry Data Socket Error: Connection timed out: Same problem here

I am having the same problem and am at a complete work stoppage. It began when I registered my copy, now I can't FTP at all because it gives me the message:

Data Socket Error: Connection timed out

I tried my other FTP program and it is working just fine. Anyone know what is going wrong? I need help quick!

Might be the flaky firewall that's installed by default in XP? Though passive connections should work anyway...

I recall someone reporting this problem before, it's a bug in a router/firewall/proxy (I forget which) you need to update the firmware.
