What version of Windows are you using?
Do you have full row select checked (Preferences dialog > Interface > File Browser) ?
Do you have grid lines checked (option is right below the previous) ?
Are you using windows themes with FlashFXP? If yes are you using a custom theme?

It seems to have been fixed in 1601.
