When it comes to transfer speeds everyone seems to get different results. There are many factors that can effect the transfer speed.

You might be able to improve the upload speed by adjusting the Upload packet size (preferences > advanced tab), usually 8192 provides the best results.

On my local 100mbit network I get the following results

<<Download>>
Transferred: battlefield_1942_patch_v1[1].6.19.exe 280,829,212 bytes in 24.50 seconds (11,193.8 KB/s)

<<Upload>>
Transferred: battlefield_1942_patch_v1[1].6.19.exe 280,829,212 bytes in 25.11 seconds (10,922.3 KB/s)

FlashFXP can achieve even better transfer rates when utilizing a faster network like 400mbit or 1gbit.
