I can fxp small files (sfv, nfo, m3u, txt...) without any problems... there's any error message on your FlashFXP screen?. Also be sure to check if you have a file called debug.log on your FlashFXP directory, the content of this file can help to determine the problem.

Btw, i'm using build 869.
