Default File size 0 bug still exists

I'm on a relatively flaky link, but I regularly need to transfer huge files from our offices abroad.

I've set FlashFXP to automatically retry transfers 99999 times and also to automatically resume.

This works well for all intermittent connection drops, but often screws up when the remote server goes offline for a longer period of time.

I get the same prompt as described above (file size 0).

My two primary reasons for using FlashFXP is no-hassle, reliable FTP transfers plus the FXP functionality.

Has this issue been resolved in the 2.0 Release Candidates?

I use version 1.4.3 on Windows 2000 Professional fully updated with SPs and Hotfixes.
