I was eagerly awaiting some SSL updates so we could use ECDSA and ED25519 keys

Yes a bad luck, you can use the free software “WinSCP” to do that: https://winscp.net/eng/index.php | Screenshot: https://winscp.net/eng/docs/screensh...rton_commander

I use it since a while and it’s a good alternative.
