Check again the last activity time was december 2017, so he is still active, but not at all.

It's too bad as it was my favorite ftp client but Free Core FTP LE does about the same thing. Maybe someday we can get new keys again but not holding my breath.

FWIW I was able to reset the activation in customer portal just now. Haven't tested it as I resorted to pulling the activation from a previous OS backup when I ran across this thread, but it's no longer showing activation limit in the portal and didn't fire any error when I hit that button.
