Default Location is not available messge box

When starting FlashFXP I get a dialog box: title: Location is not available.
Message: C:\Documents and Settings is not available. Access is denied.

I'm on Win7 so there is no such folder. Where is the setting that triggers this?

I am not sure what version you're using but I was unable to reproduce this error using the latest version.

Please ensure that you're using the latest version of FlashFXP.

Download FlashFXP

Using 4.4.4 build 2044

Is there some default local location setting that it is looking for?

There is a default download folder setting, under Options > Preferences > General >Default download folder

However if this path is invalid or access is denied it should not display any error messages on start-up.

You might want to check the flashfxp.exe file properties > compatibility tab and ensure that the FlashFXP.exe is not running in any backwards compatibility mode. Easiest way to check within FlashFXP is from the main menu Help > About > Details Tab > Operating system.

It was indeed an invalid download folder default. Thanks
