Transfer button not working for selected item

Before, when I was using 3.7 version I had no problems while uploading.

-- So, here is the scenario --
  1. I connect to FTP server
  2. Click on local files tab and select file for upload (for example, index.html)
  3. Switch to remote files tab to do something (rename something like a folder or file)
  4. While I'm on the remote files tab I want to upload, again, from the local tab where the file is left selected without switching the tab or re-selecting the file I click on FILE TRANSFER button.
  5. Nothing happens.

I need this to work. It's messing with my workflow.

Re: Transfer button not working for selected item

The bug is still there. I'm working on a website right now. In an hour I lose about 5-10 minutes of transferring files because I need to select the file after each upload. Please fix this.

Re: Transfer button not working for selected item

What specific build of FlashFXP are you using?

Does your program window layout still look like the one from your old screenshot?

Is the transfer selected button enabled?

If so when you click it does play a beep sound through your speakers?

Does the item ever end up in your queue window?

In most cases the "transfer selected" button will work even when the side is not active as long as there is something selected, there are however some limitations, such as if the navigation tree pane is also active then it will be disabled or not activate.

Re: Transfer button not working for selected item

I discovered a possible issue where in a rare situation FlashFXP was unable to correctly determine what the "transfer selected" button should do and tries to transfer from the wrong side. i.e. the button on left toolbar is pressed but the operation is executed as if the "transfer selected" from the right toolbar instead.

You can test this change by downloading this dev. build, unzip and replace the flashfxp.exe with the one in your FlashFXP program folder.

Re: Transfer button not working for selected item

I'm really going to stop updating FlashFXP.

This feature worked on version 3... Why is this even a topic today?

When transferring folders, the focus disappears as well.

P.S.
I'm always using the latest version.

Much of the code was rewritten in v5 to provide full Unicode support. Unfortunately this introduced many issues that needed to be fixed and I am sure that there are still quite a few unexpected behaviors as a result of it waiting to be reported.

The latest official build is 3883, but I linked build 3885 in my previous post, and while that was the latest when I replied, my current dev build is now at 3886. If you can be as specific as possible it makes it much easier to know which changes were made and whether or not they solved the problem or not.
