Transfer pauses if log scrollbar is held

While downloading a file from an SFTP server, I dragged the log window up (holding down the mouse button over the scrollbar handle) to read the log. I then noticed that almost immediately, the file transfer paused, and did not resume until I released the mouse button. This behaviour happens repeatedly and can be reproduced by starting a large download then clicking and holding the scrollbar handle in the transfer log window.
