Re: Local File Transfer incorrect File length

Next time you post something, keep your warez collection out of it. This is not the proper place to brag about your leet site.

I see 2 strange things. You are downloading 20000000 byte file, however when FlashFXP send
[2011-03-18 03:11:53 pm] [L] SIZE zg-tronbd.part35.rar
your server replied with
[2011-03-18 03:11:53 pm] [L] 213 20097458
so instead of saying that file is 20MB even, it gave a wrong number.

Another strange thing i noticed is that FlashFXP send only 1 TYPE command switching into ASCII mode.
[2011-03-18 03:11:04 pm] [L] TYPE A
[2011-03-18 03:11:04 pm] [L] 200 Type set to A.

I do not see any TYPE I commands before files transfer, which could relate to the point above of wrong file size and why your downloads are corrupted and wrong length...they are being transferred as text files rather than binary files.

What do you have in Options-> Filters-> ASCII?

seems like default, no rar or zip inside

Re: Local File Transfer incorrect File length

What is your transfer mode set as, Is it still set at AUTO?

Based on the log you provided FlashFXP is not sending TYPE I which is required, otherwise the files are transferred in ASCII mode. As you assumed the files do appear to be transferred in ASCII mode, its quite obvious from the log file.

SIZE is returning the ASCII size not the BINARY size and thats why it doesn't match.

Are you using 4.0 build 1548? If not you should be.

There are currently no known issues with transfer mode switching and I have not been able to reproduce this issue myself.

Can you please mail a copy of your flashfxp.ini to support@ at our website, From your flashfxp.ini I'll be able to determine if its a configuration issue.

One other possibility is that you may not be using an authentic release of FlashFXP, If that is the case please download an authentic version of FlashFXP from our website.
