Sort by File Extension

Is there a way to sort by file extension, if not is it possible to put that in as a feature request?

F6, Interface, File Browser, File List Sort, File Extension

I see but not by clicking on column header.

The problem with that is that there isn't a file extension/type column in the remote browser.

The correct way to change the sort order on the fly is via the remote file list > right-click menu


Changing this via the Preferences will only change the default sort order that is applied on start up, it does not change the order for the current session.
