Cannot specify port on an IPv6 address when using multiple server addresses

Hi,

I want to add several IP addresses to a single server item in FlashFXP. This works perfeclty fine for domain names and IPv4 addresses, however not with an IPv6 address on a different port. How do I specify the port number in this case? The input field suggests IP:PORT, however this is obviously not possible for IPv6. I tried [IP]:PORT as it is used in a browser's address bar, but this did not work.

Example:
IPv6: 2001:db8:1f70::999:de8:7648:6e8
Port: 100
FlashFXP suggests: 2001:db8:1f70::999:de8:7648:6e8:100 <- wrong
Expected syntax: [2001:db8:1f70::999:de8:7648:6e8]:100 <- not working

Is this not yet implemented or am I doing it wrong?

Re: Cannot specify port on an IPv6 address when using multiple server addresses

Yes IPv6 addresses need to be in brackets, so your example as shown below should work

[2001:db8:1f70::999:de8:7648:6e8]:100

What version/build of FlashFXP are you using?

Re: Cannot specify port on an IPv6 address when using multiple server addresses

Further testing has revealed an unexpected issue parsing the IPv6 [address]:port when the address contains back to back colons such as your address.

Try the expanded IPv6 address, this should work for you
[2001:db8:1f70:0:999:de8:7648:6e8]:100

This issue will be addressed in our next update.

Re: Cannot specify port on an IPv6 address when using multiple server addresses

Please try the following update to verify my fix, this is just the program executable so extract it over your existing flashfxp.exe

Thanks for the fast reply! The new executable fixed the problem :)
