@var@ substitution in Token Modifiers

Custom variables currently can not be used in token modifiers, they are treated as plain text.

It would be useful if they were substituted the same way command tokens are prior to processing the modifier.

I have confirmed that @var@ are not replaced as expected when used within token modifiers.

The following dev build should correct this issue
