Upgrade Failed and Broke

Opened up FlashFXP and it said there was a new update. Come up with the prompt to download.

It downloaded deleted the files associated with the shortcut and failed. Keeps saying that it cannot find any files associated with the path C:\Program Files\FlashFXP 4\...

It goes through and fails everything

I downloaded another version and the same thing happened, just displays the same sort of error.

Machine is Windows 7, AMD machine with an average mb/cpu about 1 year old.

Ok, went to control panel and uninstalled the program, reinstalled and working like a beaut again.

All sites, etc, are still present so am 1 happy little ducky again

Any chance of getting this to run on Ubuntu?

FlashFXP works under Wine, so it will run on Ubuntu.

Do you happen to know exactly what version/build of FlashFXP you upgraded from?

We've had several customers report this issue but we are unable to reproduce this behavior or determine exactly what is causing it.

This is quite a mystery to me and it's quite odd that it would comes up now, We've been using this new installer system for nearly a year without any issues.

Removing FlashFXP and re-installing it seems to resolve the issue, As you noticed, and all FlashFXP settings and sites are preserved provided you don't choose to remove them as part of the uninstallation process.
