looking for: low disk space warning script + ability to announce to IRC

As the thread title already says im in need of a low disk space checker.
I imagine something like a small script which is schedulable like every 15 minutes and then checks if there is enough disk space. If the value drops below a predefined value (like 10000MB) it will put a log line into ioftpd.log and so a bot is able to announce it on IRC.
It would be great if its has the option not to only choose one disk (im thinking of the system like on dzsbot when you do !df and it shows the "devices")
If anyone is willing to supply such a script i'd be very happy!
