Default file caching

does io use something intelligent file caching? would it be possible to integrate an algorithm that look for how much ram is on the machine to preload files in advance to memory? so less hdd resources are needed.

how is that done by io atm?

i believe windows does that by itself... if i SFVcheck a 200MB file, it goes at about 50 MB/s... if i run the test again, it goes at about 180 MB/s. (512 MB ram)
