Default problem with setting the speedlimit

Hi,

I have a problem with setting speed limits...

I have a group named "IOGROUP" and a user named "IOUSER"

now when I try to issue this commands for the user & the group:

site change IOUSER speedlimit 5 0
site change =IOGROUP speedlimit 5 0

I am trying to restrict the downloadspeed to 5 kbps...but when i log in with that account i still can download witg 85 kbps ...

Can someone help me?

Thanks

- user-specific speedlimits only work in the registered version I believe (don't know what version u are using)
- ioftpd.ini -> [Network] -> Scheduler_Update_Speed = NORMAL -> make sure this isn't set to "DISABLED"

There's an entry in ioFTPD's knowledge base which explains the differences.

Q: What's the difference between the registered and unregistered version ?
A: At the moment, unregistered version has the following limitations:
- SSL is not supported
- Per client speed limits are not included
- Ordinary memory managment
- Limited to one io thread per process
- Smart disk-access queue is disabled
