Default Status Window

Happy Newyear btw

Got up this morning with crazy ideas. Yea Yea, here we go again with Terminal Font.

How about rewrite "status window" with "embedded Terminal" font ?. Why?:

http://www.inicom.net/forum/showthre...=Terminal+Font

Like DAMN NFO Viewer ( http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-...O-Viewer.shtml )

Oh well, maybe too crazy but just a thought.

Well the thing is that most people don't have problems with the Terminal font in the status window. The last fix fixed it for almost everyone. until now I was under the impression that everyone was happy with the Terminal font.

When you select the Terminal font you want to make sure the Script is set to OEM/DOS on the font dialog. Also you can try forcing it by opening the flashfxp.ini and make sure the last number in the font entry is 255 and not 0.

Perhaps I got them backwards, maybe it should be 0 and not 255. Try that. When I get some time I'll test it as well.

I've noticed those accents recently too. I must admit that I've never really paid attention to these details and I'm not always using the Terminal font but I think they had disappeared with the last fixes you're talking about. I'm sure of one thing: they're back now.

I've checked my FlashFXP.ini and found "StatusFont="Terminal", 12, [], [clWindowText], 255". I've then transferred some files and noticed another weirdness:

When the transfer ends, the message appears in the status window like this:
Transferred 2 files totaling 40,85 MB in 20,83 seconds (2á056,0 KB/s)

If I double click in this window to open the status log in the internal editor, the message appears like this:
Transferred 2 files totaling 40,85 MB in 20,83 seconds (2ß056,0 KB/s)

And when I select the text from the status window to copy it, it appears like this when pasted:
Transferred 2 files totaling 40,85 MB in 20,83 seconds (2 056,0 KB/s)

My guess is that it's some locale issue. I'm running a french WinXP.
All the tests were made using the english language file for FlashFXP. I'll do some others using the french translation tomorrow.
