Daily scheduled mirror

A new feature I'd like to see is a mirror/ backup function that would sync two or more directories on a specified schedule like once every hour/day or whatever. It would be nice if it ran as service so that it will always run no matter what. If there is something out there what would do this instead of moding flash then let me know cuz I have never seen it.
