Default disc full?

I'm a newbie so I hope someone can help me out. For some reason when I try to resume downloading one particular file, it will say can't transfer.......disc full?
I have plenty of room on my c drive and the file is only half completed so don't understand what it's telling me.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...........Sue

Sometimes windows will incorrectly report the amount of free disk space after a crash or inproper shutdown. You need to run scan disk in order to resolve the problem.

Also you can turn off the check free disk space notice, this option is located in the Preferences / Transfer tab.
