Default host2host xfer error

* FlashFXP v2.1, build 924, registered.
* OS Win2K SP4
* Running behind NAT No
* Running firewall Yes, Zonalarm 4.0.123
* Running Antivirus Yes, NAV 2004
* Network CABLE 3000/256

additional info if related
* FTP server(s) name Serv-U 5.0.0.1

I have never had a problem with FXP, but now I am unable to figure out what exactly is going wrong with a site to site transfer in order to remedy it.

I am trying to copy a batch from one server to another. The target host is running Serv-U 5.0, I am not sure what FTP5 is running. I connect to the hosts and attempt to copy from Host2 to Host1. After about 7-8 MBs have moved, I receive the following error.

426 Data connection: Illegal seek.

This aborts the current transfer and connection cannot be restablished. Here is the logfile showing the transaction.

I can copy smaller files. I can run a large batch of files as long as the filesizes are only a few MB without incident. Any large files seem to abort after 7-8MB.

I am trying to give you not too little and not too much information, if this is incomplete I can supply more data.

Thanks you.

mike, not putting in your flashfxpid only hurts you. Please download the latest beta and try. I believe your problems should be solved.

I thought that posting my user ID would give unregistered users an easy way to get into your beta site. I replaced it so that I would be able to receive help with this issue.

I tried with the new beta, similar result: failed after 9 out of 15MB. I am sure this will make more sense to you guys than it down to me.

Code:
[15:06:13] [R] PASV
[15:06:13] [R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (211,117,61,237,193,20)
[15:06:13] [L] PORT 211,117,61,237,193,20
[15:06:13] [L] 200 PORT Command successful.
[15:06:13] [L] STOR File_I_Need.rar
[15:06:13] [L] 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for File_I_Need.rar.
[15:06:13] [R] RETR File_I_Need.rar
[15:06:14] [R] 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for File_I_Need.rar (15000000 bytes).
[15:09:38] [L] 426 Data connection closed, receive file File_I_Need.rar aborted.
[15:10:03] [R] 426 Data connection: Illegal seek.
[15:10:03] Transfer Failed!
TIA,
mike

from what i gathered about this error(which seem to occur only on linux server, and not on serv-u) it seems like it's server error, and has nothing to do with flashfxp itself..
from what i gathered it seems like the server is unexpectadly closing the connection. if possible try to find out if that server is behind router/firewall. if so, see if server admin can change routers/firewall idle connection timeout value...

while you are waiting for the answer, consider trying the following options, try to enable "send noop during transfer" and/or try "alternative fxp" option. they might, or might not fix this issue, it's doesn't hurt to try
