Default Binary or Asci Tranfer Mode

Could someone tell me what the difference is between these both transfer modes, and if there is any possibiltiy to make flasfxp use for example binary tranfer mode for download of txt files

BINARY files are transferred byte for byte and no modification is done, when transferring a file in ASCII mode the text is converted from UNIX to DOS.

To transfer .txt files in BINARY mode simply remove .txt from the ASCII file extensions, this is located on the Options menu.
