Default Anyone FXP'ers using Winroute PRO?

If anyone here using FXP protocol and winroute PRO, do you have any speed issues?

For example a few years ago when i was running winroute fxp worked fine, but a week ago i setup winroute pro again using the latest version and was shocked to find that FXP speeds would be between 1k to 3k/sec, where if this transfered was done without using winroute the transfer was around 100k/sec

I also confirmed this on a friends setup using winroute with the same results.

Anyone else seen this behavour and maybe know why?

i used to use winroute pro as a router and i noticed no problem at all
now i use the "internet connexion sharing" included in win2k and the only thing i noticed is that when i was downloading things from my router the speed was about 2MB/s and now it is about 6MB/s on a celeron 400MHz
so i've found that winroute was taking too muc hressources and that is why i replaced it by ICS.
but 2MB/s is far bigger than the bandwith used by my internet-modem (0.128MB/s - 1024kb DSL)

i was using Winroute PRO 4.2.4 i think.
