Default Upload Packet Size

How does the upload packet size affect transfers ? Will having a higher upload packet size increase the speed ? I have an uncapped down/128 kbit up cable connection so I am wondering if I should set it to 8192. It's currently at the default setting of 4096.

Thanks.

test and see for yourself
some people have better results with smaller values, some with larger..

I would recommend trying each packet size, it really depends on your windows settings / isp.. When transferring to an XBOX 2048 seems to provide the best results.
