Default unhiding dot files?
Hi all, new here was having an issue that I need some help on...

I am trying to unhide dot files to give me the ability to use a program that lets me upload images to a photo gallery by just logging in from any computer. But, I have to change the permissions on the .htacess file and I cannot see it

Any help would be great!
