Default Error 10055

Hello,

sorry for my enlish, I'm French ...

I've got an error 10055:No buffer space available after one or two hours of use of my FlashFXP 1.4.3 (build 835) demo mode under Windows XP Pro.

I'm obliged to reboot my Pc for reuse my internet connection ...

Do you know that build 878 or 879 (cant remember which) is currently out ??

Maybe you should try the latest version...

Also what are you trying to do when you get this error ?

What is your system setup, etc?

- Internet Explorer 6 SP1
- PC Cillin 9 Firewall + Antivirus (I've tried to desactivate, I've got the same error)
- Windows Messager 4.7
- mIRC 6.03
- ADSL Autoconnect 2.0.4 F4

System setup :
- Athlon XP 1900+ on MSI Kt7 Pro2
- Geforce 2
- 512 Mo Ram (1500 of Virtual Memory under Windows)
- Modem ADSL Alcatel Speed Touch Home
- Windows XP Pro with SP1

Hmm. I'm not sure why you are encountering such a problem with so few internet applications. Normally you run out of buffer space when using 100s of sockets at once or If a program is poorly coded the programmer may negect to free the socket causing a resource leak. Sooner or later all sockets will be exhasted and a reboot will be required.

Of course FlashFXP doesn't have any such leaks.

Version 1.4.3 (build 835) is not 100% Windows XP compatible and there are several major issues that were resolved in v2.0. So you may want to try v2.0 RC3, you can download it from http://www.flashfxp.com/rc.php
