Default Problem Connecting.

Hi,

* FlashFXP v3.0, build 1015, unregistered
* OS; Windows XP
* Running behind NAT/router; Not Sure
* Running firewall; Yes, Zone Alarm Version 4.5
* Running Antivirus; No
* Network; Cable

I am trying to connect to a ftp, and it seems to connect fine. Then something pops up that says; "Certificate Information. This certificate is self signed." and goes on to tell me the certificate has expired. What does all this mean? I am clueless. Up hitting Reject, Accept Once, or Accept and Save they all have the same results, I get disconnected from the FTP.

HELP!

Even though the ftp server certificate has expired pressing accept will still allow you to login. I suspect you are being disconnected for another reason. Can you please include a copy of the ftp session status text.

You're being disconnected because either the username or password you're trying to login with is incorrect.
[R] 530 Authentication failed, sorry.
Just because it says the username is OK, doesn't mean that it is.

After testing this on my own pure-ftpd installation, it seems that your username is correct, but you are using an incorrect password.
However, being able to tell this kind of thing from the output of the FTPd is very bad, since an attacker would know if he had found a valid username on the server.
I am now contacting the author to fix this.
