I used Hostgator years ago, and they were affordable, reliable, and I liked that their servers are wind-powered (good for the environment). I ended up switching to a cheaper host though because I didn't need the unlimited space and I could cut down the cost in half while still having another reliable host with good uptime. In other words, my opinion, Hostgator is good if you're happy with the price.
