I just read in the TODO list about the 'offline' or 'while downloading' browsing using cache feature.

I've got an idea somewhat related to that. Since directories and files caching exists, we can know in a directory which items are new. So i think it would be nice if an option could be enabled that highlights the items that didn't exist in a "recorded state" of that directory.

By instance, you browse a site on monday, quit, then come back on tuesday and browse again. Every new items are displayed in italic, or bold, or pink or whatever.

Thoughts ?

(hope i was clear enough)

well you wouldn't know if any items were new unless you forced a refresh otherwise you'd still see the same items as from monday since it's cached.

A similiar suggestion had been made, but it had nothing to do with caching, simply showing newer files since the last refresh.

This is on our to-do list, however the chances of us ever getting to it are very slim. There's too much work for one person (me).

This is basically the idea.

The suggestion has been made, anyway. Keep on your great job.
