Hey Bigstar,
I was wondering why FlashFXP won't identify itself properly to RaidenFTPD. SmartFTP for example can do this though, so it's not impossible  Well i hope you can implement it, it's not important, just fun to know :)

There's no reason for FlashFXP to identify itself. The server doesn't need to know what client you're using, so why tell it?
I don't know about most users but personally the ftp server operator has no business knowing what ftp client you're using.
If a user wants they can fake their client, make it anything they want.. hows that sound :) From the Site Manager / Advanced / Perform on connect, add the following text
CLNT <whatever>

I checked it, and it works flawlessly :) But i was thinking, can't you make it an option to turn identification off? So by default the client will identify, but for the privacy paranoias out there, they can disable it. I think many siteops would like this....
