How to Ftp files by date

I want to connect from a NT4 server to a Unix system and ftp only files for that day, and perform this everyday. Is there a way to script this, and what date command can I use ?

Did you find out how to use a script to download files based on current date etc?

I am trying to have FlashFXP to connect to an ftp site and download current date files from three different directories which contain archived files.

Any help would be appreciated.
