Newbie question

I was wondering why when I start downloading it never shows up on my hard drive how much is complete. It shows 0. I have the status bar at the bottom that shows how much is complete, but when I look at the file on the drive it says it is 0. I have tried to refresh and that doesn't work.

This is OS dependent, On some OS's you will see 0 bytes until the transfer has completed.

I have tried to fxp to different os,but I have it on all servers,and other people dont seem to have it,
