I forgot a few of my stored passwords and can't remember what they are. I can still access the ftp servers because flashfxp has them stored, but you only see ********* instead of the real password.
Thanks

download the lastest beta, you will see an option field next to the password field to "show" your password.

The reveal password option only exists when you have an application password set.
Sites -> Security -> Set Password

I am talking about in the Site Manager. When you save a ip address, port, username and password, the password box has ******* instead of readable text. I am trying to find out in the Site Manager, how to see my passwords instead of *******.
Thanks
p.s. build 848 win2k sp2

I know exactly what you're trying to do, but you can't do it unless you set an application password. Once you set a password you will see a new option in the Site Manager, reveal, when you click it, it will show your password.

Thanks that worked.
Any way to add a global "Show All Passwords" option in future releases?

hey,
why not use the NT login 's password for the flashfxp 's passwords and support multiple users at the single machine?
and maybe set the administrator 's password for the master unlock/recover password???

Most of the people who wanted password protection wanted something secure. Tying it into the NT login password is not very secure. Our application password protection is complete, as it is now there wont be any new changes to it.
FlashFXP can support individual settings for multiple windows users, it's just a matter of adding a registry setting to activate it.

Add the following key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FlashFXP]
"APPDATA"=dword:00000001
