It is possible to have a HTTP Login Screen using the ioftpd login db? - so I won't have to setup another account for each ftp and http - so that members who have axx to ftp can also have axx to http.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it - but unfortually i'm not a scripter but cool if there's something out there I can use.

The http interface still has much work to be done on it, it's reccomended that you do not bother using it until darkone has finished it. But that won't be for a while yet.

If you need a GUI of somesort, you should try ioGui by ADDiCT, its under 'Scripts' in the forums.

Hmm, thought it might be for the admin use only :s

Heheh, ok can't wait till it's all done - been waiting for that for ages. ;)

BTW, thanks for the quick reply.

the http-interface uses the same accounts as for ftp/telnet, the only thing the users need is the H flag, but as NeoXed said the http-stuff is far from finished - but login, browsing, downloading works (at least it did in older versions, not sure now :D)

Well, i don't mean by accessing to http and leech stuff .. but was talking about using the login/pass from ioftpd, so that way, private members can access http to read info, news, etc..

Sorry if i'm not making this clear but hope u'll understand what i'm trying to do here.

That won't be included in io!
io http interface will be used mainly to manage the ftp users/groups/settings.
It could be done using a script, but won't be ready anytime soon!
