Problem with router

Hi I'm using a linksys router, and i cant seems to connect to a site with port 995, i tried using both passive and none passive method and whenever i tried to connect it give me this [Connection failed (Connection timed out) ]. If anyone do knows the method of solving this please reply me, thanks. PS: I'm using Windows XP

you sure that site is up?:)
make sure that site haven't banned your ip
can you connect ot that site w/ any other ftp client?

Yup that site is up, I had tried unplugging my router from my cable modem, and using just my cable modem to connect to the site is possible, but with the router on, it kept getting connection time out
