I know we all have been waiting for this module for a long time. Now I am asking if we all band together to donate to the awesome scripter that wants to take on this challenge. I am willing to start the donation with $100. Everyone lets show how bad we really want this module. Even the littlest bit help!!

I shall contribute with $5 for this project although I believe the script should be free since its sceneware, but now that we have to pay for the ftp server and scripts then what the hell, I really need this script as well so please someone script it if you want some money ;)

cheers

hey,

I was going to do it anyway as I mentioned in some other thread... Though i don't know about the money, I was hoping on keeping ioFTPD scripts free :/. If you really want to donate money I don't think anyone's going to say no though :P.

Right now I'm just trying to figure out the modules :s the mysql db is taken care of right now.

Though, just wondering, does everyone here able to setup/or have access to a mySQL database? (www.mysql.com) As i'm planning to make it depend on this database.

laters,

I don't think that would be a problem. It's really easy to setup up and if they managed to setup ioftpd no problem with mysql.

sounds like you're really making it worth it :) (never received that large donation for io from single person :p) You might consider using more generic routines (odbc) over mysql libraries... this would make it possible to run userbase in various databases.
