problem opening fxp

I cannot get this program to open for anything. I keep getting a CRC error. I don't have a debugger running on my computer and I have no viruses in my system. I've downloaded fxp from several different sites and tried several different versions with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? (I've even d/led the file from this website and it doesn't work either)
