It seems that if I try to open a file from the local view window, It creates a subdirectory named %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\

My guess is that either;

a) I have some setting misconfigured, or tweaked, that interfers with the local profile that you are trying to access, or

b) Somewhere in the source code the variable to pull the %USERPROFILE% has been corrupted either on my end or within the newest build itself.

This is only a minor bug, and I figure it to be a toss-up as to my error or the programs.

Test Machine Specifications:

Pentium III Coppermine 500
768mb pc133 ram
Asus P3B-F motherboard
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 32mb Video Card
Windows XP Professional (All updates installed)
Linksys 3com Fast ethernet adapter enabling Charter Pipeline Cable Internet

More info available on request to further investigate this issue.

This seems very strange, We have no code like this that is executed when you open a file from the local view.

The path you see is is what should be the full path to your temp directory, FlashFXP uses your temp folder for caching remote file listings and to temperarely store remote files being edited or viewed.

No where in FlashFXP does it even attempt to make this directory, it assumes it already exists.

Have you recently used one of those OS TWEAK programs? Perhaps it messed something up.
