win 98 without firewall
if i open a ftp serverl dir`s are all emty
but i know from other guys are full the dirs
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.

my version is 835 from flashfxp

well its not a bug in flashfxp, its because wrong settings, i think the solution is very simple, u only need to connect in non-passive mode ... after that it should work :-)

(F4, select the site --> options tab --> deselect passive mode)

hmm weird, what is the server type ??? maybe u can send me the ip of the ftp via pm so i can check it...

omg the access violation aint good, normaly it should help to reboot windows to make flashfxp more stable (although its for me always stable :)) ... if the reboot does not help and the access violations appears again then u should re-install flashfxp, but save your sites.dat to a seperate dir, else u will loose all your bookmarks

the sites.dat file is in the flashfxp dir, its possible when u use the windows explorer that u dont see the file cause the attributes ...

in case u cant see the file then check the explorer settings so that the explorer shows also hidden and system files

(or use DOS and copy the file manually :))

BetaMan, what's your and site you are connecting to network setup? firewalls, proxy, etc? what's your os?

I use no Firewalls and proxys and the other man too
