fxp with wingate from behind gateway

i would like to know if it's possible to fxp throught a gateway from an ftp to an other using a wingate. I've tryed several time but no luck

i got win2k as client os. My gateway server is an e-smith (e-smith.org) it's linux based (red-hat) software server. And i would like to use my wingate to fxp from home (so i can go back from work sooner still doing my job :) )

i've recompiled my kernel with a patch (http://www.algonet.se/~cyrano/ip_masq_fxp.html)
but it won't work ....

please help me ;)

in order for FXP to work both sites ftp1 and ftp2 must be able to directly talk to each other, if there is a gateway or firewall between them you will run into problems.

i even got problems to do normal fxp since i'm behind a gateway, witch uses ip_masq .... any solution ?
