Disable Status Window Word Wrap

How about an option to disable word wrapping in the status window and add sideways scroll bars?

Sometimes output from servers is arranged into columns. Word wrapping makes this difficult to read.

This is not possible by design. This window does not support side scrolling and the author has disapeared. I haven't spoken to him in nearly 3yrs.
