What I think he is trying to say, is that once he starts a download, it drops to 0.00K/s whilst it is transferring. He has tried downloading files off different FTPs, but gets the same problem which each one. Other FTP clients do not have this problem.
He also ran Norton Utilities Disk Doctor, and that found no problem with the disks.
I have also experienced this problem with download speeds dropping to 0.00K/s on many occassions, and so has one of my mates. The download will be going fine for a few minutes, then suddenly stop at 0.00K/s. It automatically tries to resume after the 2 minute timeout, but does this a maximum of 15 times.
This often leads to incomplete files, and errors with complete files due to the fact that they have been resumed so many times.
Both my friend and I have had this with multiple servers, and did not experience it before, say, Xmas.
necrohex: Please confirm this is the problem which you were experiencing.
