I can't seem to FXP. I always get 425; can't open data connection. This isn't because of the servers, because I can FXP between the same servers but using a different connection.

My home connection where it doesn't work is an DSL connection. DSL uses the NAT protocol. To prevent my modem from blocking connections, I had all the ports forwarded to the comp where Flash-FXP is installed. BTW my OS is Windows XP.

Does anyone know if it is possible for me to FXP with NAT? If so, what do I have to change to make it work?
Thanks in advance,

Remy

In most cases you can not FXP with NAT. NAT provides a transparent protocol handler which insures the right IP is sent to the ftp server for PORT commands, however in doing so it breaks FXP. Most NAT designs will only monitor port 21 for the ftp protocol. So if the ftp server was on say port 2121 it would not be effected by NAT.

There are some previous theads where NAT was discussed and several users have made their own suggestions. Perhaps you should try searching the message board.
