proxy and firewall

Hello!

I am at school right now and cant connect with flashfxp to ftps.
This school is using a proxy but dont know which kind of proxy it is so that i can set it up with flash,

If you have a way, please notify me.

Apart from asking a network administrator at the school, I have no idea how you would figure out which proxy they use.
