dirs before files?

Is there an option to have flash 'go into' directories in the queue and display the files before it starts xfering a batch download? BPFTP does this by default. So in other words, I have 3 dirs in queue and I hit 'go.' Flash will open only the 1st one and xfer all its contents before going on to the 2nd one. I want it to open all the dirs to show me a total d/l time. Can this be done?

Sounds like a very good idea to me.

You could also edit files and delete them from the Queue before Flash has even reached that directory. Perhaps an option in the Preferences would be a useful place for this.

if flashfxp will get dir list of all dirs right away you won't be able to trasnfer files that were added after your did that dirlist..

That's why it would be an option, and not default behaviour.

Some users would prefer it, some wouldn't. It would be even more use as a per site option, so it could be turned off for sites which have regular updates.

This has been answered once before.

Due to the way FlashFXP was designed an option like this would require a huge rewrite to the queue/transfer routines.

I don't see this happening any time in the near future.
