i'm trying to FXP a file to another computer from a friends computer and i get timed out every time but i had another friend test it out and with his settings he could do it


[13:27:20] 200 PORT command successful.
[13:27:20] RETR test.zip
[13:29:20] Connection lost: **.***.**.***
[13:29:20] Transfer Failed!

it keeps lossing the connection to the computer i'm trying to get the file from anyone know what settings i need to change? and the computer that i want to put the file on doesn't have PASSIVE enabled

waz, if your friend could do it, compare his settings to yours and see where you differ. It might not be FlashFXP, but your connection, network-setup (if any), any number of possibilities. Comparing the settings could make you see something you've missed, or at the very least take that possibility off the list.

Are you using a proxy?

We have added an experimental option called "send noop during transfer" this option is located in the Preferences / Proxy tab. Some users claim this helps keep the connection alive during transfers. However enabling it may cause adverse problems.
