Segmented File Transfers

If you guys implemented this feature you would be my heros.

All FlashFXP needs is to support segmented file transfers, like you log into 2 ftp accounts and pick the exact same file and it opens a certain amount of threads and downloads segments of that file from each.

How is it a waste of time if you are speeding up transfers?

To support this FlashFXP would require an extensive re-write. Until that happens, debating wether or not multiple instances or multiple threads qualify as "speeding up" of the transfer(s) is a moot point.

Some servers have a download speed limit... Some even as a default.

Segmented file transfer is a workaround for that and makes most sense if you have several servers with the same file:
If you do file sharing this is the best method to maximize the download bandwidth:
T-DSL in Germany has 128 kbit/s upload and 768 kbit/s for download.
