Lots of failed files...

I was using 2.1 to move my mp3 collection from my PC to my xbox and for some reason i get about 425 failed files due to "file opening failed"... so i saved the queue and upgraded... and i get the same thing... thought maybe the mp3's were corrupt... nope they play just fine in winamp... anyone know what the deal is?

I believe the xbox file system has some limitations on filenames. I think the max filename length is 8.3 and i don't think spaces are allowed.

Well I'm going through my queue and seeing that the filenames are either really long or contain some special chars... I'm willing to bet theres a 64 char limit and no special chars. But renaming the files to be shorter (not as short as 8.3) is working... now to just do this 425 times :) not to self for the future... thank you:cool:
